Pope Francis’ Vos Estis Not Working

As we have found at BDW, to our dismay, Pope Francis’ clergy abuse law does not work very well.  Both Archbishop Rodi in Mobile and Archbishop Vigneron of Michigan ignored the Vos Estis against Bishop Raica that we previously published in full on this site.  Asking the Church to police itself works no better than asking doctors or lawyers to police themselves.  If one is serious about transparency, then auditing must be done by an outside organization. This is standard accounting 101 practice.  While we believe there are many well-intended, righteous priests and bishops doing their best to lead their flocks, there certainly appears to be a high percentage who are not.  Read more about this here:  Francis’ clergy abuse law, ‘Vos Estis,’ isn’t working.
